US Saws’ SX20100 Dual Component Pump is designed to reduce labor cost and increase speed with quick and efficient application of both polyurea and epoxy 2 component joint fillers on commercial and industrial floor projects. Offers significant increase in the speed of application where the alternative is applying by hand using a twin cartridge system.
Each SX20100 comes with a replacement supply of (20) 1/2″ x 32 element static mixers designed to work with a wide variety of joint filler products. US Saws offers the standard SX20100 model two man operation pump and the slimmer and even more labor efficient US Saws’ new SX20550 Dual Component 1 Man Pump offering one man operation.
The SX-20100 Dual Component Pump dispenses polyurea and epoxy joint fillers at a rate of 0–0.6 GPM and allows production rates of up to 4,000 to 7,000 lineal feet per day, The SX20100 Dual Component Polyurea / Epoxy Joint Filler Pump has a 1/2HP motor and operates on 110V electric current (220 volt electric motor available). Also can be used on projects where electric power is not available through purchase of the US Saws’ deep cycle battery and power inverter.
The SX20100 is simple to use and easy to maintain. Joint filler is applied through a long flexible hose and comes out through a removable static mixer for proper material mixing per mfg requirements. The SX20100 works with 1:1 mix and using an optional easy to change sproket 2:1 mix joint fillers. The SX20100 comes supplied with 20 static mixers (1/2″ x 32 element).
The Dual Component Pump is powerful enough to work with both polyurea and epoxy joint filler material. Great for use with the ASTC Polymers 3003/3004 Polyurea Control Joint and 3246 Poylurea Expansion Joint Filler. It will also dispense many polyaspartic coatings, offering extremely quick application for larger floor projects where time is critical and labor budgets are tight.
Typical joint filling team has 3-4 people for cleaning existing joints, filling joints, keeping product filled in machine and running machine to fill joints. For repairing and restoring existing joints average about 1,000 linear feet of joint repair/filling per day: In one 8 hour day typically spend 6 hours removing existing material and cleaning joints at an average 1’/minute rate and 2 hours filling joints at 10’/minute. For filling new joints with no existing joint filler can average as much as 5,000 linear feet per day cleaning and filling joints.
