Natural Wood Chips (Flakes) are made from real wood and offer a custom wood floor look while embedded in a tough, durable and great looking epoxy floor coating system.  Made from natural wood. Select from 7 domestic woods then broadcast into a properly prepared epoxy coating. Using our premium HyperREZ UV Resistant Epoxy, Custom Wood Chips will will enhance any room, office or garage.

Sold in 1 lb box.  Calculate usage for full flake broadcast at 15 – 20 sq’/lb Wood Chips.   Natural Wood Chips average 3/8″ in size and are 5 mils DFT (dry film thickness).

Note:  Flake orders are custom made at the time of order placement. Due to this, flake orders are NOT eligible for return. If you are not certain that you will like the selected flakes, please feel free to contact us to arrange a small sample.

How to Apply?

• Step 1: Prime floor with thin pigmented coating closely match predominant color of Wood Chips using one of our epoxy floor coatings in 14 colors.
• Step 2: Apply heavy broadcast coat clear 100% Solids Epoxy, recommend HyperBOND or HyperREZ UV (apply 75 sq’/gallon), then heavily broadcast Wood Chips and let cure.
• Step 3: Blow excess Wood Chips into pile & reclaim
• Step 4: Apply tight grout coat clear HyperREZ UV
• Step 5: Sand surface using orbital sander 80-120 grit screen
• Step 6: Apply final topcoat(s)
• Can sub Aspartic 100 Polyaspartic in place HyperREZ Epoxy
• Est full broadcast Coverage = 15-20 sq’ floor/lb Wood Chips
