Application Instructions 

Test Area

Due to variances in surfaces and conditions, always test in a small, inconspicuous area before using on complete project.

Application

For Pre Engineered Flooring Surfaces: Pour or spread a small amount of  Poly U on the adhesive. Let Poly U sit for a couple of minutes if adhesive has just come in contact withh floor. Let it sit for 15-60 minutes for adhesives that have been in place longer. Once adhesive is softened, wipe up or scrape poly U and adhesive from the floor. Wipe surface with wet cloth to remove remaining residue.

For Wood Floors on Concrete Surfaces: Pour or spread Poly U 1/8″ thick over highest level of adhesive. Let sit for 8-12 hours. Scrape Poly U and adhesive off concrete. Rinse residue off with water.

Pro Tips

1.  Block off areas of application from foot traffic, to prevent slips and unwanted tracking of product
2. Do not leave product on pre-engineered flooring any longer than necessary
3. For best results, use above 50F

DO NOT USE ON WOOD SURFACES 

Clean Up

Clean remaining thin residue with E700DG EMERGE Degreaser or water using a scrub brush and/or mop or power washer. Allow surface to dry before further preparations.

Residue Test

After rinsing, apply water to various small areas on the concrete and rub with fingers. If water turns cloudy white, it indicates there is BEAN•e•doo remaining on the surface. Repeat clean up steps and retest.

Disposal

E500MR Bean•e•doo removes and encapsulates the asbestos black mastic and allows for easy disposal in garbage bags and garbage containers with use of kitty litter or similar product to keep waste in sludge form and absorb asbestos. Hazardous waste disposal could be required. It is strongly recommend that the customer checks with their local city/county on the regulations & requirements of this type of disposal.
