E2.8 Poly-Chemcure Primer | Fast Recoat | Low-Temp
E2.8 Poly-Chemcure is a high performing , very fast recoat, sandable, two component, VOC conforming (2.8 lbs/ gal/low HAPS) Amine Cured Epoxy that will cure at temperatures down to 20F. E2.8 Epoxy Primer is specifically modified with a proprietary blend of selective resins wetting agents and penetrants to provide excellent adhesion and protection to properly prepared carbon steel, galvanized steel and aluminum surfaces. Depending on the temperature, the fast setting E2.8 can be recoated in 90-105 minutes.
E2.8 provides excellent resistance against alkali , salts, fresh or salt water, gasoline, weather, humidity and many acids and solvents with appropriate intermediate and topcoat. The E2.8 is intended to be used as a primer and should be top coated.
E2.8 High Production Epoxy Primer is used as a regular and high build primer under a wide variety of Epoxy and Polyurethane topcoats.
E2.8 provides an excellent, fast recoat; sandable, production primer for fleet, rail, construction equipment, transportation equipment and many OEM applications. An ideal epoxy primer for structural steel, tanks, vessels, equipment, etc. For use in chemical processing plants, pulp and paper mills, fertilizer plants, petroleum refineries, electric generating stations, coal handling operations, food processing plants, etc., where recoating in 60 minutes @ 90F and 105 minutes @ 75F is required for maximum productivity.
PRIMER: NA the E2.8 is to be used as a primer
