MIXING AND APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface should be sound, clean and DRY. Remove all contaminants, dust, dirt, paint, waxes or other foreign material.

Wash floor with a neutral cleaner and allow to dry. If oils or grease are present, use an industrial strength degreaser or detergent for removal. The surface should be rinsed thoroughly to remove any residue. Allow surface to dry before applying sealer.

APPLICATION

Mix well with slow speed Jiffy mixer. Apply E669 with a short nap roller, low pressure sprayer or lambswool applicator. Apply a uniform wet film; do not puddle material. Do not cover more area that can be worked in 10 minutes due to fast drying time.

Two coats are normally recommended depending on porosity or type of service.

E669 is flammable, keep away from open flame. For safety and product curing, proper ventilation is necessary through out application and product cure.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not apply to surfaces below 50°F. The surface should be dry and at least 5°F above the dew point.

Substrate should clean, sound and dry. Any foodstuff and furnishings in the application area should be removed prior to application. Keep material from freezing. Only use with proper ventilation.

Apply a test patch over any questionable surface. Do not use in area subject to hot oil, grease, etc.

Only top coat E669 with itself or other acrylic lacquer sealers.

CAUTIONS

E669 is flammable. Keep away from all sources of ignition during mixing, application and cure. The use of goggles, fresh air masks or NIOSH approved respirators, protective skin cream and protective clothing is a recommended standard practice when applying coating.

This product is sold without warranty as to performance expressed or implied.  Users are urged to make their own tests to determine the suitability for their particular conditions.

NOTE: E669 Clear will not meet V.O.C. compliant regulations in California and other states. Check all local, county and state V.O.C. regulations before using the E669 Clear.

LIMITATIONS:

• Do not apply over frost surfaces or extremely high humidity conditions.
• Do not apply over expansion joints.
• Do not apply if the surface temperature is within 5° of the dew point.
• Partially used containers must be reclosed tightly to prevent moisture in air from reacting with material and forming a tough skin.  Skin can be removed and remaining material used.  Be sure to stir.
