New Liquor Store in Georgia Protects Floor with DT-454 Epoxy, Aspartic 100 and Silica Sand
DESCRIPTION
Newly constructed Liquor Store in Georgia was looking to protect their floor with an epoxy and polyaspartic system with silica sand. Before beginning, they utilized a concrete diamond grinder to ensure the concrete was thoroughly prepared and felt 60-100 grit sandpaper.
Step 1: Apply DT-454 Clear Epoxy at approximately 100 sq’ / gallon
Step 2: While DT-454 Epoxy wet, broadcast 1 box 50 lb silica sand every 100 sq’ until surface is completely dry
Step 3: Wait 7 hours and then Remove all loose sand and vacuum. Apply DT-454 Epoxy Clear at 100 sq’/gallon
Step 4: While DT-454 wet, broadcast 1 box 50 lb every 100 sq’ until surface is completely dry
Step 5: Wait 7 hours and Remove all loose sand and vacuum. Mix Sky Blue pigment into Part A at rate of 30 oz per 3 gallon kit, when mix Part B. Apply Aspartic 100 Polyaspartic at 90 sq’/gallon
