E812 Acrylic Roof Coating

E812 is a low voc water based acrylic self-plasticizing monolithic roof coating that withstands ultraviolet light, temperature extremes, mildew and normal foot traffic.  Offers good long term durability, passing the ASTM G53 accelertated weathering test at 9,000 hours.  This tough, flexible membrane will accommodate building movement without cracking or splitting.

E812 works well on sloped roof substrates including wood, metal, and concrete. E812 is not recommended for aplication over tar based roofing, EPDM rubber or roofs subject to pooled or ponding water.  For EPDM roofs and those subject to pooled or ponding water consider our waterproof E814RCP Co-Polymer White Reflective Roof Coating E811FP can be brushed, rolled or sprayed.

It is available in 6 different colors and comes in 5 gallon pails and 53 gallon drums (ships LTL freight only).  Carrier Gray, Black, Donavan Brown and Brick Red colors require minimum quantity purchase of 25 gallons.

Coverage rate depends on surface conditions and application procedures.   Can be applied in one, two, or three coat applications, with or without fabric reinforcement. Normally applied in a 2 coat system, 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet of a base coat and 1.5 gallons per 100 square feet of a topcoat combine to achieve the recommended 40-45 mils wet thickness and 22-25 mils dry film thickness.  Calculate total usage at 33-34 sq’/gallon when applied in 2 coats.

PRIMER: None required.

TOPCOAT: None required
