Hi Performance Floor System Repair, Protect Decorate
DESCRIPTION
Customer looking for high quality, commercial grade floor coating and repair system chose the 4034 Polyurea Concrete Repair, 6009 Epoxy and 5500-Ex Polyaspartic from ASTC Polymers.
The concrete floor was thoroughly prepared prior to application of product. Significant sized cracks were repaired by first removing loose material with an angle grinder and then 4034 Polyurea was poured directly into the cracks until they were filled. The floor was then roughed up to an 80-100 grit surface with a diamond grinder, crack repair areas ground smooth with floor surface and then pressure washed.
They applied one coat of the 6009 100% solids Epoxy in a Dark Gray color then applied a very heavy broadcast of B-606 Color 1/4″ Vinyl Flakes/Chips . The project was completed with a clear topcoat of the 5500-EX (extended set time) Polyaspartic High Gloss for increased chemical and abrasion resistance. The SSR-20 Anti-Slip Round Polybeads were mixed into the 5500 during mixing of parts A and B.
