DESCRIPTION
Homeowner 2 car concrete garage epoxy floor project. Customer wanted high quality garage floor epoxy coating and selected the HyperREZ Epoxy coating system.
Pictures show major steps involved in process:
1.) Used grinder to put 80 to 100 grit sandpaper like finish on the floor (Picture shows floor after use of grinder)
2.) Applied 1 coat of HyperREZ UV Resistant Epoxy with a solid color
3.) Applied 60 lbs customer chip/flake blend
4.) Applied 1 clear coat of Aspartic 85 Go Slow Polyaspartic

HyperREZ UV Resistant Epoxy: Basecoat applied at 100 sq’/gallon
Solid Color Epoxy Pigment: Sable Gray
Custom Blend 1/4″ Vinyl Chips : Chips applied at rate of 1 lb for every 100 sq’ of floor. (Heavy Broadcast rate). Customer selected 60 lbs of custom made blend of the following 4 colors – Royal Blue, Morning Fog, Moody Blue and Silver
Aspartic 85 Go Slow Polyaspartic : Topcoat for additional abrasion & chemcial resistance applied at 200 sq’/gallon. (Normal application rate 500 sq’/gallon on epoxy with no chips but more product needed when being applied over heavy distribution of chips)
