DESCRIPTION
Homeowners basement had 3′ vertical crack leaking water through poured concrete foundation wall needing repair. Repaired using ASTC Polymers’ 830 Polyurea Concrete Repair good for both Vertical and Horizontal surfaces.
While opening up crack to remove existing epoxy crack repair material prior to the 830 application, what started as a small crack became a much larger repair than expected. Applied 830 Polyurea using a twin cartridge hand pump dispenser, then smoothed out excess material with putty knife and after dry 830 was hard enough to use a grinder to smooth out crack surface repair. Next day painted over crack to match existing wall surface. Water leak was completely sealed with no further water penetration through the wall.
