Mend-Con RTU Concrete Repair | Apply Underwater | Vertical No Sag | Quick Cure | Paintable | Low Temp 40˚F | Case of 12

Mend-Con RTU is a two component, 100% solids, high strength ceramic blend epoxy all purpose concrete and masonry wet condition and underwater repair product.   It’s highly versatile and will bond and cure in wet conditions.  Even perform repairs and apply under both saltwater and freshwater, no problem!

With its no sag formula, Mend-Con RTU works well on vertical and overhead repairs as well as traditional horizontal surfaces.  Offers a quick cure, dry to the touch in 15 minutes and topcoat with most any paint or coating in as soon as 1 hour and drive over with vehicle in 8 hours.

The resin and hardener are uniformly dispensed from a dual chamber cartridge system and mixed simultaneously through a mixing nozzle, providing users with a self mix delivery system.  A cartridge gun is supplied with each purchase.

This product has been determined to be exempt from USDA authorization. Construction and repair compounds may be used in U.S. Federally inspected meat and poultry plants as long as they are not applied to food handling surfaces.

Application temperatures: 40˚F to 100˚F ambient air and surface.  Can be applied to most any concrete, brick or wood porous surface.  Will adhere to smooth non-porous surfaces only after first roughing up with sandpaper before applying.  Apply up to 1″ at a time.  For deeper repairs wait at least 15 minutes before applying the next 1″ of Mend-Con RTU.   Great for wide variety of cracks, holes or joint repairs (not designed however for expansion type joint repairs).  Can used to fill a crack or space in newly poured concrete as soon as it is dry to the touch.  For application to top of newly poured concrete wait 60 days after concrete poured before using.

As a quick cure product, plan your work well before using as only have about 5 minutes working time to manipulate the product after dispensing the Mend-Con RTU material onto the surface.  Best to apply no more than 1″ thick at a time otherwise significantly slows down the curing process.

Comes in case of 12 cartridges 8.6 fluid oz each.  Each case comes with 1 cartridge gun and one plastic static mixer for each cartridge for proper application.

PRIMER: None required.

TOPCOAT:  Compatible with most any acrylic, epoxy, urethane or polyaspartic coating.   Can apply topcoat one hour after application at 70˚F.  To topcoat your underwater repair use our E591 Epoxy or consider the E100V Epoxy
