Large Shop Project with Custom Flakes, E707HB Epoxy and E449 SF Polyaspartic
DESCRIPTION
Power Sports store in Illinois wanted to upgrade their shop floor so turned to a custom vinyl flake and epoxy system. They performed the work in 3 phases. Before beginning the second phase of their project, they ensured they had everything properly prepared the concrete by roughing it up with a concrete diamond grinder to get the feel of 60-80 grit sandpaper.
From there, they then applied the E707HB Epoxy Floor Coating at approximately 110 sq’ ft. While the epoxy was wet, they then broadcasted a custom blend of Vinyl Flakes Using White, Orange, Gray and Black. By creating their own blend, they were able to create a customized look specifically for their shop for no additional charge!
In order to protect the floor, they then applied a topcoat of E449 Polyaspartic at approximately 153 sq’ ft. This provides a beautiful high gloss appearance and is able to withstand high traffic and use in industrial settings.
