DESCRIPTION

The City of Spruce Grove wanted to protect a beautiful new mural painted by Edmonton-based artist Maaike Lynn. The mural is called “Our Grove Gathering” and is meant to depict a summer evening alive with music, dancing and entertainment. With it’s rich cultural background, the City of Spruce Grove turned to MuralGuard Clear Anti-Graffiti Coating in order to protect this artwork.

MuralGuard Clear Anti-Graffiti Coating provides outstanding protection of painted murals and other public art projects. It is easy to clean graffiti removal, UV Resistant (will not yellow) and provides great chemical resistance. Variety of gloss in clear, matte, satin and gloss finishes.

For application, they ensured that the surface was clear of all contaminations. Two coats were then spray applied , each coat at 300 square feet a gallon to ensure full coverage of the mural.
