Large Basement & Utility Room Protected with PerfectPrimer and PaintPlus
DESCRIPTION
Large condominium complex wanted to protect their basement that connected the buildings together. They turned to the PerfectPrimer Sealer and PaintPlus to get the job done. The size of the basement and utility room was 7,000 square feet. The PerfectPrimer was used first with which provided an easy to use and low VOC solution. Two coats were each applied at an average of 350 sq’/ gallon.
PerfectPrimer Sealer is a one part, water-based solution that safely SEALS and PRIMES difficult and dangerous substances such as asbestos mastic, black mastics, cutback glue and adhesives, carpet glue, failed soy gels, and lead paint without disturbing them. PerfectPrimer Sealer then allows most decorative coatings to be applied on top including all acrylic and latex paints, epoxies, polyurethanes, urethanes, polyaspartics, both water and solvent based, decorative/leveling cements, adhesives and mastics.
Next, the PaintPlus was applied over it at 275 square feet per gallon. PaintPlus is both a durable and flexible product providing chemical resistance and durability. PaintPlus also works great as a topcoat over PerfectPrimer.
