Conex Trailer Wood Floor Flexible Epoxy & Polyurethane Metal Wall Coating Makeover
DESCRIPTION
Customer project to refurbish interior wood floor and metal walls of 40′ long Conex trailer. For the wood floors they selected as a bonding wood primer, our E5015 Epoxy Clear Primer, then as a flexible membrane our E139 Flexible Epoxy Dark Gray and our 5500-Ex Polyaspartic Black as topcoat. To protect the interior metal walls they selected our E15M Epoxy Metal Primer Dark Gray and E370P Polyurethane topcoat dark gray.
Trailer was refurbished in Florida in 2022 and shipped to Hawaii a year later in 2023 with several pieces of heavy machinery strapped to the floor. Customer commented how impressed they were how well the coating system has performed. Even after a year of use and then during transit to Hawaii when strapping came loose and machinery moved around during transit all that customer could see were some scratches on the floor, no chipping cracking or peeling.
