GARAGE TURNED INTO MAN CAVE WITH 6009 EPOXY & FLUORESCENT FLAKES
DESCRIPTION
The concrete floor was thoroughly prepared prior to application of product. The floor was prepped with a diamond grinder and then pressure washed.
They applied one coat of the 6009 100% solids commercial grade epoxy in a Black color and then broadcast a medium application of 1/4″ F4100 Rocket Red Color Florescent (Black Light) vinyl chips/flakes. These flakes offer a bright florescent color which glows brightly when illuminated by black light. The project was completed with a clear topcoat of the 5500-EX (extended set time) Aliphatic Polyaspartic for increased chemical and abrasion resistance.

6009 Epoxy 100% Solids Black Color: Basecoat applied at 133 sq’/gallon (12 mils thick)
Fluorescent Rocket Red Color 1/4″ Vinyl Chips : Chips applied at rate of 1 lb chips for every 80 sq’. (Medium/Heavy Broadcast rate)
5500-EX Polyaspartic Clear : Topcoat for additional abrasion & chemical resistance applied at 200 sq’/gallon (7 mils thick)
