E707LVP Epoxy Protects Refurbished Church Sanctuary Concrete Floor
DESCRIPTION
Local North Carolina church looking to renovate worship sanctuary to include removal of old glued down carpet on concrete floor and installation of new epoxy coating system. They chose the E707LVP High Solids Epoxy Primer and Coating.
The carpet was removed and using a concrete diamond grinder to rough up the floor, most but not all of the glue was removed. To prevent problems with future adhesion, two coats of the PerfectPrimer, a specialty bonding primer for use over glue contaminated surfaces was selected for application over the floor before applying one coat of the E707LVP Epoxy.
One coat of the E707LVP was applied in a medium gray color. Customer was very pleased with the results, saying it looks great, easy to apply and covered extremely well. They purchased more for a 2nd project in the church.
