COOL COAT KEEPS 100ºF HEAT OFF METAL HANDRAIL
DESCRIPTION
Homeowner wanted to cool down their excessively hot metal handrail that really heated up during the hot 100ºF Texas summer sun. Their handrail offers important safety support going up steep hillside entrance to their home and was too hot in the summer to use properly.
Cool Coat Thermal Barrier Paint was selected to solve the problem. Cool Coat reflects infrared radiation (IR), significantly cooling painted surfaces. Customer purchased the Deep Tint Base and had a local paint store color it to a gray/green color. The cooling affect works even on darker colors! Customer Says ” I painted early in the morning before it got too warm, and gave it 2 coats. I plan to do one more coat in a couple of weeks, after it really has time to cure. Guests have already used it and feel more secure navigating those steps!!”
Customer sent pictures of the finished project and exclaimed “100 degrees in Dallas today & I can hold the railing! This paint is amazing!!!! Wonderful product!!! Does what it claims to do. We are very satisfied with our experience”
The O’Neil family.
