DESCRIPTION
Vegetales Fresquita new construction project for a food plant included a 5500 sq’ (500 m2) concrete floor. There was a requirement to protect the floor against high moisture levels inherent from the high annual rainfalls in the area.
The engineering and archictectural firm hired to manage construction, Rivas Vargas y Asociados selected the ASTC Polymers’ CMW 8000 Lithium Moisture Vapor Barrier for its ease of application and excellent performance in reducing hydraulic vapor pressure. The CMW 8000 was applied using a backpack hand pump spray unit.
The CMW 8000 does not leave a surface film or change visual appearance and does not prevent addition of a high performance coating in the future. Note: Pictures taken while floor wet right after application.
