COOL COAT THERMAL BARRIER PAINT COOLS LAB OTHER SIDE OF ROLL-UP DOOR
DESCRIPTION
Commercial customer wanted to cool laboratory affected by heat coming through an exterior roll up metal door getting excessively hot in the summer sun. The Clear Cool Coat Thermal Barrier Paint was selected to cool the surface without changing the color of the door.
Two coats of Clear Cool Coat were applied to the exterior side of the metal door. As the door was previously painted, no primer was necessary. Customer was pleased with the looks saying “Can’t really tell it was treated”.
Customer reported that the affect on the interior temperatures in the laboratory behind the door was significant as the “Inside of the door much cooler to the touch” and “Not burning hot like before”. Customer summarized the overall results: “Was hot in the lab inside before and now it’s not”
