Ordering Overview
Ordering OverviewExterior Performance Coatings is proud to offer a wide range of products for sale online. You will find a large selection of specialty sealers, sealants, protective and decorative coatings and concrete repair products that solve a range of graffiti, environmental, moisture, stain, decoration, protection, concrete repair, anti-static problems.
Our products are made by manufacturers who focus on being “Best in Class” in their respective areas. Shipping is by Fed Ex, UPS or USPS Priority Mail, with your choice of free standard ground offering 1-5 day shipping in the lower 48 United States, or next day/2nd day/3rd day expedited delivery. Customers will receive tracking information upon shipment.
Most orders are shipped same day or next day depending on when the order is received.
We ship worldwide. All US and Canadian customers can order on our website using our online ordering system. For all other countries, please call, email or use our website contact form and let us know your requirements and we would be happy to discuss various ocean and air shipping options and special packaging that saves money.

Payment
Payment can be made through a secured payment system with your choice of:
- Pay Pal customers can pay using your secure PayPal.com account
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, JCB and Diners Club card holders can pay using secured payment processing
- ACH/Wire transfer payments are accepted and will receive an additional discount. Please contact us for banking information and discounts available.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is collected on all online orders shipped to addresses in the state of Georgia. For tax exempt customers, please contact us before ordering for proper handling. We will need documentation of your tax exempt status.
Payment
Payment through the www.ExteriorCoatings.com website is only accepted for orders being shipped to the United States and its territorial possessions and Canada. For orders outside the United States or Canada, orders can be placed by calling customer service at (630) 675-4509 or email sales@exteriorcoatings.com or filling out the contact form on this website to arrange payment and shipping methods. Special discounted freight pricing is available on export orders shipped Fed Ex International Air. Larger orders are shipped ocean freight out of the least costly seaport.
US Shipping
During the checkout process, customers are given the option to select the shipping method desired. Standard shipping is free to the lower 48 US States using Fed Ex Ground, UPS or USPS Priority Mail. Transit times vary from 2-5 days once an order is processed and shipped. Larger shipments use FedEx LTL Truck Freight wherever possible. Expedited air shipment options at additional charge can be selected during the online checkout process including Fed Ex Next Day, 2nd Day and 3 Day Saver. Please contact our customer service to confirm order processing time for time sensitive shipments as we are not always able to process and give to FedEx expedited air orders same day order is placed.
Countries Serviced
We ship worldwide. Shipments initiated through the https://ExteriorCoatings.com website are only accepted for orders shipped to the United States, its territorial possessions and Canada. We have special LOW COST FedEx Ground shipping rates and no hassle delivery to Canada where we process required paperwork, import taxes and fees. For orders outside the United States or Canada, orders can be placed by calling customer service at +1 (630) 675-4509, emailing sales@exteriorcoatings.com or using the contact form on our website to arrange shipping and payment methods. Special discounted freight pricing is available on export orders shipped Fed Ex International Air and smaller orders using USPS Priority International. Larger orders are shipped ocean freight out of the least costly seaport.
Order Tracking
Order tracking information is available for all orders. Tracking information is available on your My Account page on our website and is emailed once order processing is completed prior to shipment.
Unfortunately, shipments are sometimes damaged in transit. When this happens, we will send out a replacement to you as soon as possible at no additional cost and we will handle the claims process with the shipping carrier.
We do require that you first send the following to scotty@exteriorcoatings.com:

- at least 2 photos showing all 6 sides of the packaging
- the damaged item inside of the box, showing the cushion/packing materials it was shipping with
- the Box Maker’s Certificate (if present) usually on the bottom of the box
- a legible photo of the shipping label on the packaging
- photos showing damage to the product
- photos showing damage to the box it was shipped in
International Shipping

Returns & Refunds
Items purchased online from Exterior Performance Coatings, Inc. eligible for refund must be made within 30 days from the date of order receipt. The following terms will apply:
RETURNS
- Only products manufactured by Rainguard International are eligible for return and only when shipped inside the United States
- All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Contact customer service to obtain. 630-675-4509 (Monday -Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM CST).
- Please write your Return Authorization # on the outside of the box with a list of the items being returned inside the box.
- Returned item(s) must be in new and unopened condition.
- Returned item(s) must be received within 14 days from RMA Issue Date.
- All returns must be shipped, freight prepaid by customer.
- Any shipping fees paid by customer on the original order are non-refundable.
- It is recommended that buyer insure the shipment for the value of the shipment and utilize a trackable shipping service and for orders over $100, use a signature shipping service.
- Returns subject to 20% handling and restocking charge.
REFUNDS
- Refunds on eligible returns will be issued to the same form of payment as that of the original purchase.
- Refund credit will be made after inspection of the product returned and confirmation that it is unopened and in new, unused condition.
Shipments that are refused upon delivery or during transit.
You will be responsible for all shipping charges back and forth if shipments are refused upon delivery or during transit to you. Sending product(s) back to us (rerouting), requires a shipping cost back and forth that you will be responsible for. Any and all shipping costs incurred by us will be deducted from your refund once the product leaves our facility. This includes Free Shipping Items.
Exchanges:
You must call for all exchange requests! Exchanges are only available on products manufactured by Rainguard International.
The Purchaser will be responsible for all exchanged shipping charges. This includes charges for return of original product(s) and charges for shipment of replaced product(s) back to the customer. We will not send out the new item until we receive the original first.
Damaged Orders:
Any product that is accidentally damaged causing product loss or equipment failure during shipping will be replaced at no charge after a claim has been made though the shipping company. Cans or pails that are dented during shipment will not be replaced unless leaking. A digital picture will be required. We will handle the claim. Please call for details.
Warranties:
All items carry manufactures warranty only. No exceptions! Registration with manufacturer may be required to activate manufacturers warranty. Registration forms available on this website where applicable or by calling our customer service department at (630) 675-4509 and must be submitted directly to manufacturer following their instructions for registration. We do not guarantee stain colors as they will vary widely depending on the wood type, age of wood, prepping of wood, and application. We are available to answer questions regarding warranties available and required registration procedures.
Limitation of Liability: Exterior Performance Coatings, Inc. shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Exterior Performance Coatings, LLC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you
