Cabin Porch Protected by 5500 HS Polyaspartic and Anti-Slip Polybeads
DESCRIPTION
Homeowner wanted to protect remote cabin porch from the elements so turned to the 5500 HS to do the job.
Before beginning, they ensured the concrete was properly prepared. This was done by by acid etching the concrete to ensure it was rough enough to have best adhesion of the coating.
After preparation, 2 coats of the 5500 HS was applied. The 5500 HS was chosen because they wanted a tough, UV resistant coating to stand up to the severe winters. To provide slip resistance, 3-4 heaping tablespoons of polybeads were applied to each gallon. Polybeads adds skid resistance and texture with providing minimal change to surface appearance. The polybeads are easy to clean and have high hydrolitic stability.
