COOL COAT THERMAL BARRIER PAINT COOLS ROOF
DESCRIPTION
Read how Cool Coat made a dramatic change in a homeowners combination greenhouse and art studio who wanted to cool their interior spaces. The building was constructed with glass walls, a metal roof and no attic or insulation. This resulted in an extremely hot interior even with air conditioning running constantly. For example prior to using Cool Cooat the homeowner reports that with an outdoor temperature of only 84F, the interior temperature was an uncomfortable 100F. This limited use of the owners art studio to morning hours before the sun heated up the inside.
Customer first applied 3 gallons of a metal primer followed by 2 coats of the Cool Coat Thermal Barrier White Colored Paint. This resulted in a dramatic lowering of interior temperatures. After applying the Cool Coat with an outdoor temperature of even 95F, Cool Coat lowered the indoor temperature to a comfortable 84F making the art studio usable during anytime of the day.
