POLYASPARTIC & REFLECTIVE GLITTER MAKES BEAUTY SHOP SPARKLE
DESCRIPTION
Beauty Salon owner refurbishing old retail location for a new salon wanted a durable flooring system that would look good and make the floor pop. The contractor doing the project did the necessary repairs and preparation to the concrete including grinding the surface.
Contractor used a 3 man team to quickly install the 450 sq’ polyaspartic floor coating system. They chose the ASTC Polymers 5500 Fast Set Polyaspartic for the floor coating.
The 5500 was chosen as it is a great looking, very high gloss aliphatic UV resistant, water clear coating that also offers excellent chemical and abrasion resistance. With a very quick 1-2 hour recoat window it also allowed Image by Kelz to quickly finish the project and get the store up and running the next day. They broadcast a reflective Gun Metal colored glitter into the 5500 that really gave the owner the sparkle they wanted when light shines on it.
