3 CAR GARAGE PROTECTED WITH EPOXY/POLYASPARTIC
DESCRIPTION
Customer looking for commercial grade epoxy system chose a system from ASTC Polymers.
The concrete floor was thoroughly prepared prior to application of product. The floor was prepped with a diamond grinder and muriatic acid etch and then pressure washed 4X.
They applied one coat of the 6009 100% solids Epoxy in a Dark Gray color and then broadcast a medium/heavy application of vinyl chips/flakes. The project was completed with a topcoat of the 5500-EX (extended set time) Polyaspartic for increased chemical and abrasion resistance. The SSR-20 Polybead Anti-Slip Additive was mixed into the 5500-Ex while mixing Parts A and B to provide an anti-slip surface when wet.

Dream Blue 1/4″ Vinyl Chips : Chips applied at rate of 1 lb chips for every 110 sq’. (Medium/Heavy Broadcast rate)
5500-EX Polyaspartic Clear : Topcoat for additional abrasion & chemcial resistance applied at 300 sq’/gallon
SSR-20 : Anti slip polybead additive
