Florida Airport Adds Slip Resistance to Jet Ramps with E650 Non-Skid Epoxy
DESCRIPTION
A major international airport in Florida had a need to provide slip resistance to its mobile jet ramps. The purpose of this project was to ensure that both employees and travelers are safe from slips, trips and falls when boarding or exiting the aircrafts.
To accomplish this, the airport maintenance department turned to our E650 Heavy Duty Non-Skid Epoxy. The E650 meets ADA and OSHA requirements for safe co-efficient of friction. It also meet the Navy Military Specification Mil-PRF-24667B for Non-Skid Deck Coatings.
The E650 was applied to the access ramps with rollers at a rate of 30’ per gallon. It required 10 gallons for each of the ramps to adequately protect them.
