DESCRIPTION
Homeowner 3 car concrete garage epoxy floor project. Customer wanted multi-colored square pattern.
Prepared floor surface for epoxy coating using diamond grinder from local rental store to create a 2 mil to 3 mil profile (like a 50 grit sandpaper finish). Applied 2 coats of 6009 Epoxy light gray color at 10 mils thick total (320 sq’/gallon per coat). Used blue painters tape to create square pattern and applied 3rd coat on alternating squares to create checkerboard look.
