Florescent Flakes are made from standard 1/4″ vinyl color chips in your choice of 6 bright fluorescent colors that really shine, especially when illumintated by a black light.  Bring a unique look to your floor coating project.   Mix Florescent Colored Flakes into your flakes/chip blend or use as a stand alone flake system.  It can be used in commercial or residential indoor floor projects.

Chips are broadcast into a colored epoxy, polyurea, polyaspartic or urethane basecoat.  When the floor coating is tack free and ready to be re-coated, excess chips are cleaned off the surface and one or two coats of a clear topcoat are applied. How thick or how many coats of a topcoat required depends on the amount of flakes used.  How much to use depends on the look desired.  The more chips the less you see of the base coat color and more you see the chips.

Note:  Florescent Flakes are not UV resistant and colors will fade when subject to sunlight.  Not meant for outdoor applications or indoor areas subject to significant sunlight.

Custom Sizes & Blends

Chips are sold in 5 lb increments and come standard in 1/4″ size.  Forescent Flakes are also available in 5 additional sizes, 1/32″ 1/16″, 1/8″, 1/2″, 1″ by using the dropdown color selector, choosing the CustomFlake option and then putting the size, sku# and flake name you want in the notes section on bottom of the Checkout Page.   You can also mix and match florescent flakes to create your own custom blend at no extra charge using the CustomFlake option.  Just tells us in the notes section of the checkout page the flake size, sku # and name and %mix each flake is of the total (total mix % must = 100%).
