The StretchGuard E8840 is a is a premium quality, high solids, “ceramic” elastomeric protective roof coating. It combines 100% Acrylic resins and Ceramic Spheres to form a coating system with superior adhesion, durability, waterproofing, heat deflection and UV protection.  Reduces surface temperature up to 30%, reducing indoor attic temperatures up to 20% for significant summer cooling energy savings.

The E8840 extends roof life and works on a wide variety of flat build up, metal, concrete, single ply, polyurethane foam, mobile home and modified bitumen roofs.  For best long term waterproof and physical performance, use as topcoat as indicated in the Application Section with the E8875 Underseal Waterproofer.  Additionally, the E8840 is Class A Fire Rated (ASTM-E-108)

Available in Gallon & 5 gallon containers, the E8840 series comes standard in a ready to use white color and may be pre-tinted in any of the colors found here: E8840 Elastomeric Series Color Fan Deck. COVERAGE RATE

Typical application should be 100 Square Feet per Gallon per coat. Most applications will call for 2-3 coats.

APPLICATION TEMPERATURE: Do not apply when temperatures are expected to drop below 50°F within 24 hours of application. Rain may damage uncured products. Do not apply under foggy weather conditions or when rain is forecast within 24 hours.
