4G Surface Guard is a permanent water-based impregnation system for horizontal and vertical mineral and porous architectural surfaces. The treatment transforms natively absorbent surfaces into highly water and oil-repellent surfaces (hydrophobic and oleophobic). As an impregnation, it penetrates mineral substrates through their natural absorbency and by gravity.
4G Surface Guard is not a film-forming sealant. It leaves the substrate fully vapor permeable. Once cured, 4G Surface Guard is invisible to the human eye and does not change the surface friction.

For Floors, 4G is designed for abrasion resistance against normal mechanical stress from pedestrian traffic, various wheel-based equipment and regular professional cleaning processes. Liquid-based grime repels and is largely inhibited from absorbing in to the porous substrate and bonding with the mineral surface material. Treated surfaces are much easier to clean and permanent staining is largely avoided. Chewing gum, grease and grime are easier to remove and normally do not leave black spots or shadows.
