Wet surface epoxies are designed to be applied to concrete with a high moisture content, damp to the touch or even on wet surfaces – places where other epoxy coatings fail. Most wet surface epoxies cannot be applied with standing water or underwater. Wet surface epoxies however are typically not designed to hold back moisture coming up from underneath the surface (hydraulic or hydrostatic vapor pressure).
